Reducing EAS label's "reactivation" is essential for retail stores: EAS label's reactivation after deactivation is serious problem for retail stores.
"Reactivation" means unwanted restoration of label's function after deactivation at POS.
Reaction leads not only negative impression from customer, but also trouble for stores because customers feel they are falsely accused due to store's mistake.
Source tagging label's reaction causes confusion because labels are often hidden inside package.
According to our survey at MIYAKE lab, patented die-cut label tends to have lower reaction rate after deactivation compared with etching labels. Please refer chart below.
